Better Living Through Boatbuilding

June 13, 2015  Hours spent building to date:  1,190

Only four hours on the Tardis this week (installing forward cabin sole), but 64 building parts and boats at the annual Boatbuilding Workshop at the Connecticut River Museum.  As always, delightful young people who work their tails off for three days on the boats, and a wonderful launch.

The boats were really good this year — we built the parts ourselves and had very careful builders and team leaders.  I know there are some pretty good boatbuilders following this blog, and encourage you to participate in or start some kind of community boatbuilding activity.  It’s good for the soul.
