On December 26, 2012 renowned sailors and Great Loop bloggers Katie and Jessie landed here at Twin Rivers Marina in Crystal River with their diesel engine “pissing” coolant. Mechanics from miles around dropped everything to come to the aid of the two distressed mariners and quickly diagnosed the problem as a rusted freeze plug in the block. Katie and Jessie were soon on their way to Tarpon Springs to continue their epic Great Loop.—–Tardis has been blown in here for three days with heavy northerly winds after a great trip up from St. Pete. More once I get back to some Internet and remember to take pictures.
